CVAT.ai (Cvat) is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test to design, develop and implement automated testing strategies and systems for their computer vision data platform.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve automated tests for the platform.
- Collaborate with developers and the open-source community to gain deep understanding of the project.
- Work with infrastructure to optimize build pipelines and test execution.
- Prepare comprehensive plans to improve product test coverage.
- Analyze requirements and technical documentation to provide feedback from a testability perspective.
- Suggest process improvements and introduce new tools to enhance product quality and testing.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience developing automated tests.
- Proficiency in Python for writing and debugging test scripts.
- Experience with Cypress, Pytest, or similar test automation frameworks.
- Understanding of client-server architecture and microservices.
- Experience testing security and performance of web applications.
- Knowledge of data formats (JSON, XML).
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with QA methodologies and tools; experience with Git.
- English B1 (Intermediate) or above.
Nice to have:
- JavaScript/TypeScript.
- API testing tools (Swagger, Postman).
- Databases (SQLite, PostgreSQL).
