Overview

We are seeking a Senior Endpoint Operations Technician to work closely with the Security and Compliance teams to validate new application requests and maintenance tasks. Key responsibilities include creating essential technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and end-user-facing runbooks for all assigned projects and maintenance tasks, serving as a reference for both technical and end-user audiences.

Please note that for positions in Ukraine, we only consider candidates who are currently based in Ukraine or plan to return in the near future. Remote work is available only from Ukraine.

Responsibilities

  • Support for multiple Windows platforms in both Physical and Virtual Environments, such as AVDs
  • Maintenance of desktop images and modification of SCCM task sequences as needed
  • Creation and maintenance of existing support documents to uphold high-quality standards in the delivery of End User Computing services
  • Advice, guidance and direction to carry out plans and procedures, ensuring schedule attainment, product development, process adherence and performance
  • Second-tier support for support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative analysis
  • Delivery of technology and products in the roadmap on schedule with the highest quality
  • Technical support with expert knowledge, acting as an escalation point for the Deskside Support Services Team and anything related to End User Computing environment, focusing on Endpoint Security Protection and application management
  • Partnership with Engineering teams to develop solutions
  • Management of the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment, including creating Images, deploying VMs and monitoring VM performance
  • Development of automated solutions for deploying software packages, application patches/updates and workstation images
  • Lifecycle management of global standard desktop and laptop models, including monitoring alerts via CyberArk and supporting the PXE environment with 1E products
  • Administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Auto Pilot deployments and management of Microsoft Intune for Windows Device Management (device configuration, policies, etc.)

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with Azure Virtual Desktops
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Endpoint Operations Technician or similar
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, FsLogix and GPO
  • Background in Active Directory and PowerShell
  • Experience with Day-to-day Endpoint Operations and escalations support
  • Skills in developing and testing software packages using InstallShield or equivalent
  • Expertise in managing a VDI environment (Azure Virtual Desktop preferred)
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle methods and current technologies
  • Expertise in SCCM administration, patch management and Imaging, including Scripting, MSI, Packaging & Automation, and administering and deploying software using SCCM in a global environment
  • Proficiency in patch management, including BIOS and firmware updates, service pack upgrades and application-based updates
  • Working knowledge of the ITIL framework and Expert Endpoint Protection Engineering
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, Active Directory Structure and Managing Group Policies
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills, and excels at working in a team environment with troubleshooting experience
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

  • Scripting experience in batch and SQL
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting
  • Skills in VBScript
