Food Safety & Quality Coordinator role at Paleovalley and Wild Pastures, supporting and maintaining food safety and quality processes across co-manufacturing network.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, biology, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 2–5 years of experience in USDA/FSIS-regulated food manufacturing (meat, poultry, or seafood strongly preferred)
- Experience supporting HACCP programs, GMPs, SSOPs, CAPA processes, and audit readiness
- Familiarity with FSIS labeling requirements and regulatory documentation.
- Experience working with co-manufacturers, suppliers, or multi-site quality systems preferred
- Experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with GFSI standards (SQF, BRC) and electronic document control systems
- Proficiency with digital tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and collaboration platforms
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally and seeking guidance when needed
- Demonstrated judgment in identifying when to escalate issues versus resolve independently
