Requirements
- Lead and manage software engineering teams delivering complex applications and services
- Provide technical leadership and guidance, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices
- Line manage engineers including performance reviews, career development, and mentoring
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, scalability, and security
- Establish and enforce engineering standards and development practices
- Drive adoption of modern engineering approaches (CI/CD, automation, code reviews)
- Support engineers in solving complex technical challenges and removing blockers
- Own and manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs), including: Creation, review, and ongoing maintenance of ICDs Ensuring interface definitions are accurate and up to date Managing interface changes and dependencies Maintaining traceability between ICDs and system requirements
- Collaborate with architects and technical leads on system design
- Ensure technical documentation is produced and maintained
- Support governance, compliance, and audit requirements
