Bethesda Softworks is hiring a QA Supervisor for the Rockville, MD studio to lead and coordinate QA efforts across multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise in-house, outsourced, and offsite QA groups; build and track daily schedules and short-to-medium term plans.
  • Coordinate test scheduling across projects, track and report deliverables and project status, and communicate risks and mitigations.
  • Manage performance, conduct evaluations, coach and mentor staff, and promote accountability and ownership.
  • Shape test structures, ensure high-quality bug documentation and data-driven insights, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Interact with Development and Production teams, analyze testing needs, and identify opportunities for automation and tooling.

Requirements:

  • Experience leading a QA team (typically 3–5+ years in a leadership role).
  • Experience with test processes and procedures and understanding of the game development lifecycle.
  • Proven performance management, coaching, conflict resolution, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, adaptability to changing priorities, and effective communication.

Preferred:

  • Experience with hiring/staffing, onboarding, HR policies, and compliance.
  • BS in Computer Science or previous experience in Test Automation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, Copilot, and tools for scheduling and tracking deliverables.
