Influence Mobile is hiring a QA Engineer focused on AI-driven QA and test automation. Fully remote (US or Canada).
Key responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual test plans across Android, upcoming iOS, web tools, and backend services
- Research, evaluate, and implement AI-powered testing tools and frameworks
- Build and maintain automated test suites to reduce manual testing time and increase coverage
- Document QA processes, test cases, and quality standards
- Track, report, and triage bugs with clear reproduction steps and severity assessments
- Report on QA metrics (test coverage, defect escape rate, automation percentage, time-to-release)
- Participate in sprint planning, feature reviews, and release processes
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, UI/UX Design, Software Engineering, or related field (graduated within the last 2 years)
- Demonstrated interest in AI/ML tools (projects, coursework, or self-directed learning)
- Basic programming skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and good written/verbal communication
- Self-starter, comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Nice to have:
- Experience with testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git
- Mobile app testing experience (Android preferred)
- Prompt engineering or AI-assisted development experience
- Portfolio demonstrating creative problem-solving
