Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager – Finance with Data Science & AI to co-develop and maintain a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap for data products and analytics solutions. In this role, you will collaborate across teams to drive adoption of data products, manage backlogs and influence the design of innovative solutions that deliver value to multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Co-develop and maintain a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap for data products and analytics solutions
  • Define and maintain Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) aligned to product and business strategy
  • Collaborate with other Crews and Pods to build a roadmap for the adoption of data products, aggregated data products to be developed, and support the State teams with expertise and frameworks to drive broad adoption across Operations
  • Maintain backlog for Federal Book of Work and related artifacts
  • Assess potential use cases objectively and understand business value vs cost of solution, looking to reuse or extend existing capabilities where feasible
  • Influence the design of new solutions to deliver benefit for multiple stakeholders where possible, and maintain pod and iteration backlogs in GitLab to a high standard
  • Assist with relevant data sourcing, ensuring compliance with the firm's policies
  • Obtain necessary governance approvals for new use cases and solutions
  • Keep current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data stream and event-based architecture, applying external perspectives and insights to improve the offering
  • Mitigate impediments to the team's goals, align across pods and with other crews where needed and act as the pod's ambassador towards internal stakeholders and clients

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of overall industry experience
  • Expertise in Product Management, Product Roadmap and Product Vision
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Jira
  • Background in Finance
  • Knowledge of Data Science and Gen AI Fundamentals
  • Familiarity with data stream and event-based architecture
  • Understanding of OKRs definition aligned to product and business strategy
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics
