We are seeking an exceptional Principal Data Solution Architect to shape strategic initiatives and drive innovation at a high level within our organization.

In this key leadership role, you will craft, manage, and implement premier data architectures aligned with the organization’s long-term vision. You will guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge, scalable solutions within a dynamic and complex setting.

Responsibilities

  • Define enterprise-grade data pipeline architectures designed for global scalability
  • Lead the design and configuration of real-time streaming platforms optimized for critical data ingest
  • Architect and enhance high-performance, multi-petabyte data lakes for retrieval and long-term storage
  • Develop and automate intricate ETL and ELT workflows utilizing Azure Data Factory
  • Integrate distributed data processing frameworks with Azure Databricks and PySpark for advanced analytics
  • Design comprehensive cloud infrastructure roadmaps leveraging Azure IaaS and PaaS models
  • Establish strategic networking practices and CI/CD pipeline frameworks through Azure DevOps
  • Deliver scalable telemetry monitoring models and log analytics strategies across diverse systems
  • Innovate in time-series analysis and operational insights leveraging Azure Data Explorer and KQL
  • Implement data governance, security protocols, and compliance models through Azure Purview
  • Translate complex organizational needs into ambitious technical projects using Azure solutions
  • Foster alignment across executive stakeholders while coaching senior technical teams
  • Architect Agile and DevOps workflows designed to speed innovation and enhance operational resilience

Requirements

  • 16+ years of working experience in Data Solution Architecture
  • A minimum of 8 years of leadership experience, preferably within Agile enterprise structures
  • Experience managing 5+ large-scale projects over time
  • Capacity to guide and impact cross-functional teams effectively
  • Background in Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks (PySpark), Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Explorer for mission-critical systems
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and large-scale analytics with PySpark and Azure Databricks
  • Understanding of globally scalable data lakes, pipelines, and real-time solutions using ADX
  • Proficiency in automation and orchestration of ETL/ELT processes through Azure technologies
  • Qualifications in cloud infrastructure governance, including IaaS/PaaS models, network design, and CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps
  • Expertise in telemetry and log analytics architectures for advanced systems using ADX
  • Skills in time-series analysis and operational insights utilizing ADX and KQL
  • Competency in establishing enterprise security, compliance, and data governance frameworks using Azure Purview
  • Capability to translate intricate business directives into impactful technical delivery centered around Azure and ADX systems
  • Showcase of strong communication and mentoring abilities to align executive stakeholders and guide senior teams
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and enterprise-grade DevOps practices for continuous improvement
  • English language proficiency at an Advanced level (C1) or higher

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Scala for advanced data processing and optimization
  • Experience with advanced ML/AI models and frameworks leveraging Azure Machine Learning and Databricks
  • Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or similar
