Overview
We are looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer to help evolve an enterprise AI Assistant platform for legal professionals by ensuring high-quality releases through strong test design and automation. You will lead a small client-facing QA team, drive alignment on sprint goals, and expand Playwright-based coverage across UI and APIs—apply now to help us deliver reliable AI-driven features at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small QA team to deliver sprint goals on time and with high quality
- Coordinate client and delivery-team communication to clarify requirements and prevent blockers
- Pick up ready-to-test stories, execute manual testing, and validate acceptance criteria
- Create test cases and add them to the existing Playwright automation suite in TypeScript
- Design and improve test strategies using sound test design principles and methodologies
- Build and maintain parallel test execution to improve feedback speed and stability
- Implement and enhance Web Service / API Testing to increase coverage and confidence in releases
Requirements
- 5+ years of test automation experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, preferably Playwright
- Proven team leadership experience leading 5–7 testers as a client-facing lead
- Strong project delivery skills to align sprint goals, clarify expectations, and remove blockers
- Hands-on Playwright skills for building and maintaining reliable end-to-end automation
- Strong API testing skills for Web Service / API Testing and validation strategies
- Excellent test design knowledge across principles, methodologies, and coverage planning
- Autonomous problem-solving skills with strong analytical thinking
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2, Upper-Intermediate)
Nice to have
- Cypress experience for web UI test automation
- Claude Code experience to accelerate test creation and analysis
- Cursor experience to streamline QA workflows and automation development
- GitHub Copilot experience for productivity in TypeScript-based test automation
- Microsoft Copilot experience to support test design and requirements analysis
