Overview
We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Senior QA Automation Support Engineer who embraces AI-native development practices and has hands-on experience delivering software into production environments.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in fast-moving and evolving environments, can operate effectively with limited direction, and is capable of influencing teams through change, including teams that may initially resist AI-driven approaches. This role is well-suited for someone who combines strong QA and automation fundamentals with modern engineering practices, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support QA automation solutions and testing workflows across the software delivery lifecycle
- Leverage AI-powered engineering tools to enhance productivity, testing efficiency, and overall delivery quality
- Participate in production support activities, including troubleshooting and issue resolution as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure software quality and reliability
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and support the integration of automated testing within delivery workflows
- Help drive the adoption of modern AI-assisted engineering practices across teams
- Operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments by proactively identifying gaps and proposing solutions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to QA processes, automation, and engineering excellence
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in QA automation, software testing, or support engineering
- Proven experience delivering software into production environments with a solid understanding of the full SDLC
- Practical experience using AI tools in everyday engineering activities to boost productivity and quality
- Strong grasp of QA fundamentals, testing strategies, and production-ready software practices
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines, including tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent
- Ability to work autonomously and drive progress in environments with shifting or evolving requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Positive, curious, and adaptable mindset with a genuine willingness to continuously learn and grow
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, automation, or tooling
- Background in Test Automation or QA Engineering roles
- Practical experience working with AI-assisted development workflows
- Understanding of how engineering work connects to broader business and product objectives
- Exposure to enterprise-scale or highly collaborative working environments
- Previous experience with Cotality environments or projects is a plus
