Vivid is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Engineering team to manage production infrastructure (Kubernetes, CI/CD, databases, observability, networking) and contribute to AI Operations.
Tech stack: AWS, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), Karpenter, Helm, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK / OpenSearch, Jaeger, Istio, PostgreSQL / Aurora, Redis, MongoDB, Kafka, Python, Go, Bash, Ansible, Cloudflare
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and upgrade managed EKS clusters; develop and maintain Helm charts, CRDs, and Kubernetes operators
- Administer Istio service mesh; participate in resilience testing and chaos tests
- Own and develop CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and manage GitOps workflows via ArgoCD
- Write automation and tooling in Python, Go, and Bash
- Operate AWS Aurora PostgreSQL/RDS, managed Redis, MongoDB, and Kafka with monitoring, backups, and recovery procedures
- Maintain observability stack (VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, Prometheus, centralized logging, distributed tracing)
- Integrate LLM-based tooling into CI/CD for automated reviews, runbook generation, and deployment anomaly detection; build infrastructure for internal AI services and agent workflows
Requirements:
- 5+ years hands-on experience in Cloud / DevOps / SRE; experience designing complex, scalable high-load services
- Strong Linux skills and networking basics
- Production Kubernetes experience (EKS preferred); AWS as primary cloud (GCP is a plus)
- GitLab CI/CD, Helm, Terraform; PostgreSQL/Aurora administration; Python or Go and Shell/Bash scripting
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
