CFI Financial Group is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work on data infrastructure, ETL processes, analytics solutions, and data science tooling for the online trading industry.
Main responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze complex data-related problems
- Conceive, prioritize, and plan data projects aligned with organizational goals
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics solutions
- Optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
- Acquire data from primary and secondary sources
- Maintain databases and data systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity
- Maintain data science and analytics documentation
- Develop ETL processes using Python
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Identify opportunities where data can create business value
- Develop and implement data science infrastructure (experiment tracking, feature stores, A/B testing platforms, etc.)
Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on Python experience
- 4+ years of hands-on SQL experience
- Strong knowledge of database design and development
- Data modeling, data mining, data segmentation
- Experience building processes for data transformation and ETL
- Experience with data structures, metadata management, dependency and workload management
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong analytical skills and ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present large amounts of information
- Additional poster requirements: 3+ years Shell Scripting; 4+ years with Angular
Nice to have:
- Databricks, Dataflow, Apache Spark
- Prefect, MLflow or similar tools
- ML/DL libraries and experience deploying ML/DL solutions
