Overview

We are currently looking for a Functional Tester to join our team.

In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through thorough validation activities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to help deliver smooth and dependable user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing across a variety of services to ensure functional correctness and quality
  • Execute API testing to validate backend services, integrations, and data flows
  • Carry out End-to-End (E2E) testing to verify the behavior of complete user scenarios across systems
  • Create and review test-related documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports
  • Define and set up test infrastructure to support efficient and reliable testing activities
  • Take part in the analysis and troubleshooting of complex software and hardware issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Prepare detailed test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Engage in agile planning, estimation sessions, and scrum ceremonies

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in software testing
  • Strong skills in identifying, documenting, and reporting defects
  • Solid hands-on experience in E2E and integration testing
  • Practical experience with API testing, including validating endpoints and data exchanges
  • Basic understanding of test automation concepts and approaches
  • Basic scripting and automation abilities, including reading and understanding test script code, working with functions, arrays, objects, and loops
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, TestRails, and Git
  • Ability to recognize and clearly articulate dependencies and integration points
  • Fast learner with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (B2+ level or higher)

Nice to have

  • Basic experience in the Media domain (OTT, Smart TV apps, HTML5) with a willingness to dive deep into the technical side, such as media systems integration
  • Basic experience in automation testing
  • AI Ready mindset is a huge plus, including exposure to agentic AI experiences, Copilots, prompt engineering, and similar technologies
