About the Role
Medical billers spend much of their day managing repetitive RCM tasks—correcting claims, following up on claims, posting payments, reconciling deposits, chasing denials and putting together appeals. For a billing company, that manual work is most of the cost of doing business.
As a Product Manager overseeing the Revenue Cycle Management automation at CollaborateMD, EverHealth’s premier enterprise billing system, you are responsible for improving how billers work claim submission, AR follow-up, and payment posting. Your work directly supports EverHealth’s goal of reducing the amount of hands-on work it takes to get claims paid.
This is an individual contributor role working on our CollaborateMD product team.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams, business stakeholders, and onshore and offshore RCM users to deliver efficient, trustworthy, and user-friendly RCM automations that improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision, outcomes, and roadmap for RCM automation
- Work closely with design and engineering to discover and deliver solutions that measurably reduce manual claim management; translating requirements into user stories and collaborating with engineering teams in an Agile environment.
- Apply automation and AI to bill correct claims, follow up on AR, apply payments, and manage denials and appeals.
- Ensure solutions are scalable and extensible across products. Define clear success metrics and hold yourself accountable for results.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of product management experience.
- Proven ability to own a complex, workflow-driven product area and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong product discovery skills and comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Hands-on revenue cycle experience preferred: as a biller, in RCM operations, or building software for billing, practice management or clearinghouses.
- Track record of shipping practical solutions that teams and customers actually adopt.
- Foundational knowledge of AI and LLMs preferred.
What Success Looks Like
- Fewer manual interactions are required per claim.
- Claim workflows become reliable, automated, and trusted.
- RCM automation becomes a source of leverage across the broader product portfolio.
