Join Sonar’s Billing Squad in the StoreFront department, building billing features and innovative pricing models for Sonar’s products.
Responsibilities:
- Own critical billing initiatives end to end, from architecture and design through implementation and deployment.
- Collaborate with UX, Product Management, engineering teams, product squads, and go-to-market teams to deliver secure features and smooth releases.
- Architect and guide on-premises and AWS cloud applications.
- Drive squad deliverables and sprints, monitor production deployments, and troubleshoot live issues.
- Mentor engineers, remove blockers, and contribute to team goals.
Requirements:
- Over 6 years of software engineering experience, including experience as a Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or Software Architect.
- Proficiency in Java and a strong commitment to Clean Code and software quality.
- Experience architecting cloud-native applications, and working with relational databases and SQL.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives with little supervision and mentor team members.
- Proficiency working with AI coding tools such as Codex and Claude.
- Billing, payment processing, Stripe, or subscription management experience is highly desirable.
Location: Relocation to Geneva, Switzerland.
