Build scalable backend systems for Appier's Ad Cloud Bidding platform, and support reliable, high-performing distributed services.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize backend services.
- Participate in code reviews and system design discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-performance systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance in production.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response when required.
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Experience with modern C++ (C++11 and later) and Unix/Linux environments.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership.
Preferred: System programming knowledge; experience developing low-latency, high-throughput systems; service optimization and performance tuning; modern build systems; and operation automation tools.
Fluent English or Chinese. Open to overseas candidates; visa sponsorship is provided for international candidates relocating to Japan.
