Overview

We are seeking a Lead SAP FICO Consultant to guide a strategic global project focused on transitioning and modernizing the SAP landscape.

This role offers the opportunity to become the primary expert and technical lead for the SAP financial stream while shaping a high-performing team. You will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth SAP FIN support transition and collaborate closely with various business streams. Responsibilities

  • Lead the transition of the SAP FIN support stream ensuring zero downtime
  • Absorb and document knowledge from the incumbent team on business processes and configurations
  • Validate SAP FIN processes through hands-on exercises in lower environments
  • Build and develop a competent and autonomous team for SAP FIN support
  • Manage escalation and resolve complex incidents within your stream
  • Review and update support documentation including standard operating procedures and runbooks
  • Collaborate with logistics and other stream leads to address integration points
  • Guide the team through shadowing and reverse shadowing phases
  • Achieve formal client sign-off for the SAP FIN stream
  • Provide ongoing technical leadership and expertise for SAP financial management modules

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP FICO
  • Proficiency in SAP controlling and financial accounting modules, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Strong background in SAP financial management and retail processes
  • Expertise in SAP-FI submodules: asset accounting, bank accounting, general ledger accounting
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing SAP project transitions or large-scale implementations
  • Experience with knowledge transfer and team building in a SAP environment
  • Ability to handle complex incident management and escalation
  • Strong understanding of SAP integration with logistics and related streams
  • Fluent communication skills in English at a B2+ level
