We are looking for a SAP MDG Functional Architect to join a dynamic technology consulting project delivering a cutting-edge SAP Master Data Governance solution in a global, multi-vendor environment. You will play a key role in shaping enterprise-wide data governance processes across customer, vendor, and intercompany domains. This is a client-facing opportunity where your expertise will directly influence business transformation and data quality standards. Responsibilities
- Design and validate future-state master data governance processes aligned with transformation goals
- Drive process reengineering initiatives and define governance workflows and data quality standards
- Conduct fit-gap assessments and recommend optimal SAP MDG solutions
- Configure and support MDG domains, including customer, vendor, and intercompany data
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solution architecture
- Provide overarching governance for SAP MDG solution design and implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile delivery environment
Requirements
- 10+ years of functional experience in SAP MDG, including hands-on configuration
- Strong understanding of business processes in customer, vendor, and intercompany domains
- Proven expertise in data governance frameworks and master data management principles
- Experience performing fit-gap analysis and translating business needs into solution designs
- Familiarity with SAP MDG architecture and integration scenarios
- Ability to collaborate effectively in multi-vendor, multi-country environments
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing engagements
- Proficiency in English with B2+ level fluency
