We are looking for a SAP MDG Functional Architect to join a dynamic technology consulting project delivering a cutting-edge SAP Master Data Governance solution in a global, multi-vendor environment. You will play a key role in shaping enterprise-wide data governance processes across customer, vendor, and intercompany domains. This is a client-facing opportunity where your expertise will directly influence business transformation and data quality standards. Working in a hybrid delivery model, you’ll collaborate with international teams in an agile setup while contributing to a high-impact implementation. Responsibilities

  • Design and validate future-state master data governance processes aligned with transformation goals
  • Drive process reengineering initiatives and define governance workflows and data quality standards
  • Conduct fit-gap assessments and recommend optimal SAP MDG solutions
  • Configure and support MDG domains, including customer, vendor, and intercompany data
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solution architecture
  • Provide overarching governance for SAP MDG solution design and implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile delivery environment

Requirements

  • 10+ years of functional experience in SAP MDG, including hands-on configuration
  • Strong understanding of business processes in customer, vendor, and intercompany domains
  • Proven expertise in data governance frameworks and master data management principles
  • Experience performing fit-gap analysis and translating business needs into solution designs
  • Familiarity with SAP MDG architecture and integration scenarios
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in multi-vendor, multi-country environments
  • Excellent communication skills for client-facing engagements
  • Proficiency in English with B2+ level fluency
