Responsibilities

  • Analyze, research, and develop product features with advanced cheminformatics capabilities
  • Integrate and adapt existing cheminformatics algorithms for use specified by the client
  • Develop and maintain databases for chemical data storage and retrieval
  • Ensure that the code and components comply with internal quality standards

Requirements

  • Degree in chemistry, biochemistry or a similar field
  • Strong knowledge of cheminformatics and molecular modeling
  • 2+ years of experience in Python programming
  • Knowledge of RDKit or a similar library
  • Desire to grow as an IT specialist in Life Sciences and Cheminformatics

Nice to have

  • Be experienced in Numpy, Pandas, JupyterLab, Git
  • Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with machine learning applications for chemistry
  • Critical thinking skills, experience in wet-lab research and conducting experiments
