Overview

We are seeking an SAP Technical Engineering Manager to lead our team specializing in SAP Basis and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Administration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide a team of SAP professionals, ensuring smooth operations in SAP Basis and BTP
  • Cultivate robust relationships with stakeholders to align business and IT objectives
  • Develop detailed proposals and statements of work for SAP initiatives
  • Design reliable and high-performing technical solutions utilizing SAP Basis and BTP
  • Manage SAP projects through all phases, adhering to SAP Activate methodology
  • Maintain deep knowledge of SAP Basis and BTP, managing system upgrades, installations, and configurations
  • Ensure optimal performance, security, and stability of SAP landscapes
  • Resolve SAP-related issues efficiently while conducting regular audits for compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar disciplines
  • Over seven years of experience in SAP Basis and SAP BTP administration, preferably in a leadership role
  • Proficiency in SAP system administration with expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP BTP
  • Competency in resolving advanced technical challenges
  • Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a forward-looking approach to technology adoption

Nice to have

  • Background in SAP Technical Architecture
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA migration scenarios
  • Relevant certifications in SAP
  • Skills in working with major cloud providers like Azure, AWS, or GCP
