Overview
We are seeking an SAP R2R Architect to join our team and drive the transformation of Record-to-Report processes through innovative SAP solutions.
In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping architecture governance, crafting customer roadmaps, and delivering impactful methodologies to enhance organizational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Run SAP pre-sale and implementation project governance, including business requirements adjustment, fit-gap analysis, process changes, and troubleshooting
- Support the evaluation of current customer solutions to uncover opportunities for SAP implementation
- Develop Record-to-Report (R2R) functional requirements and align IT and business enablers through customer initiatives and blueprint creation
- Collaborate on account planning activities to define customer visions based on solution scope
- Drive architecture governance to ensure alignment, communication, and consistency across the R2R domain
- Engage in the customer lifecycle as a core member of the account engagement team
- Define and integrate business, data, application, and technical architecture within the R2R domain
- Lead or support target architecture and roadmap development with continuous alignment to SAP solutions
- Introduce innovation to address specific customer requirements and optimize processes
- Cultivate strong customer relationships and assist the sales team in customer solution discovery efforts
- Assess trends in R2R improvements and SAP solution portfolios to formulate effective customer roadmaps
- Provide work effort estimates for R2R organizational design improvements, technical configurations, and SAP developments
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Software Architect
- Background in identifying business opportunities and solution gaps related to R2R, with the ability to develop actionable gap closure options
- Expertise in presenting tailored SAP features and innovations addressing potential customer needs in the R2R domain
- Qualifications in R2R business architecture development, SAP solutions functionality, and delivery methodologies
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling functionality
- High-level knowledge of budgeting, S&OP processes, cost allocation methods, and fast closing approaches
- Ability to communicate effectively with IT and business organizations within customer environments
- Advanced proficiency in English (B2+/C1)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with capabilities of SAP S/4HANA Logistics, CFin, PaPM, BPC, IBP, and related deployment options
- Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting processes and principles
- Understanding of IT service sales cycles, account planning, and go-to-market strategies
- Expertise in PMP, SAP Architectural and Design Thinking, and TOGAF frameworks
