Design and develop algorithms, automation, and services for a cloud-based identity resolution platform. Work in small agile teams to build and maintain a SaaS product using complex NoSQL and relational data models and big data. Own features from design through production deployment and collaborate with product management.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily with Java.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, JPA, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, performance troubleshooting, Jenkins CI/CD, security practices including OAuth2, JWT, and SSL/TLS.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using tools such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Ability to own end-to-end delivery, mentor engineers, contribute to code reviews and technical decisions, and support production systems.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and time-management skills.
Preferred: Kafka or other event streaming platforms, Python, AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, SSO/SAML/OIDC, cloud-native development, Docker, Agile/Scrum, and Master Data Management experience. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and relevant cloud or Java certifications are preferred.
Location and relocation: Based in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. Candidates living elsewhere must relocate within 60 days of accepting the position. Verato provides a relocation bonus of 42,500 MXN pesos.
