Circle is hiring a Lead Engineer for its AI Platform.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience building and shipping production software, ideally including complex, tool-using LLM agents with planning, orchestration, or sub-agents.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails or Python, or ability to learn them quickly. Python is a strong plus for data and evaluation work.
- Experience building evaluation or observability infrastructure for ML/AI systems, including evaluation pipelines, scorers, dashboards, or CI/CD for evaluations. Experience with Braintrust, LangSmith, or similar frameworks.
- Experience designing datasets, annotation workflows, or labeling pipelines for ML/AI evaluation.
- Ability to learn quickly, experiment, and work effectively in a dynamic environment with ambiguity.
- English proficiency at CEFR C2 or ILR 5.
