Build services that manage billions of related products and power product discovery across •••••• websites, mobile apps, Alexa, and physical stores. The team develops highly available distributed microservices, machine-learning and rule-based validation systems, and data stores containing billions of records.
Responsibilities: Build new microservices and expand the core platform, with a focus on customer experience, high availability, and engineering excellence.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language
- Preferred: 3+ years across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
