Own engineering across ••••••••••••’s AI venture studio portfolio, serving as the technical gate for technical leads, product CTOs, engineers, and infrastructure. This is a partner-track role with ownership of the full technology domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a transparent, forecastable development system covering planning, backlogs, reporting, and metrics, reusable across the portfolio.
  • Prioritize and track parallel workstreams while maintaining a portfolio-wide view.
  • Build and structure the engineering organization, hire teams, define ownership, and design the engineering compensation model.
  • Set shared engineering standards and make holding-level architecture decisions, including stack, hardware, memory, and model architecture trade-offs.
  • Remain hands-on when needed: prototype, work with Kubernetes, debug production issues, and ship solutions.
  • Take AI-agent orchestration architecture from design to production, including agent pipelines, harnesses, and wrappers.

Requirements:

  • Experience building and running engineering organizations of dozens of people across multiple products, including from scratch.
  • Deep AI background, including LLMs, AI-pipeline orchestration, architecture limits, hardware, memory, transformer math, and reinforcement learning; experience spanning DevOps through ML.
  • Experience across the startup lifecycle, from idea and product-market fit through funding rounds and growth.
  • STEM or engineering degree and fluent English.
  • Already based in the United States or ready to relocate soon.
  • Strong organizational management, daily tracking, hiring, product and business judgment, and ability to manage parallel work while staying hands-on.

Preferred: Big-tech experience; hardware and devices; TTS/STT and conversational AI; AI-agent harnesses, wrappers, and orchestration; startup experience through IPO; top-tier university.

Terms and benefits: Full-time remote work, with sync windows by agreement across time zones. Compensation up to 15000 USDT total, including base fix and shipment bonuses. Option or equity in products you create and lead, with the opportunity to launch your own startup inside the venture studio using its infrastructure, team, funding, and network.
