Summary
The Senior UI/UX Front-End Engineer plays a critical role in enhancing the user experience for a high-traffic consumer platform in the sports and gaming space. The primary objective is to redesign and optimize the platform's interface to create a fast, lightweight, and seamless experience across various devices and network conditions.
Main Responsibilities:
Rethink and modernize the interface and user journeys in collaboration with the product team.
Design and build a coherent design system and component library with light and dark themes.
Create a distinct motion language for the application, ensuring smooth transitions and interactions.
Write semantic, accessible, and performant HTML and CSS.
Optimize the application’s performance considering Core Web Vitals.
Profile performance on low-end devices and slow networks, addressing issues at their source.
Key Requirements:
Senior-level expertise in React and TypeScript.
Deep knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Expert web animation skills.
Proven front-end optimization results.
Experience with shipping web apps inside WebViews.
Strong UI/UX sense with attention to detail.
Daily use of AI tools for development.
Portfolio of live interfaces or interactions.
High availability for evening and weekend work.
Nice to Have:
Experience with design tools (Figma).
Familiarity with PWA and caching strategies.
End-to-end testing and automated performance measurement experience.
Experience with high-traffic, real-time products.
Ability to communicate in French.
