•••••••• is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for trading and ML infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and optimize server and network infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain VPNs, private networks, routing, firewalls, and secure connectivity.
- Manage infrastructure across AWS, Hetzner, and dedicated/bare-metal environments.
- Automate provisioning and configuration; improve reliability, performance, fault tolerance, and security.
- Optimize systems for performance-sensitive trading workloads.
- Build and improve monitoring, observability, and alerting.
- Evaluate technologies, providers, hardware, and architecture; work with developers and the trading team to improve the trading stack.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience setting up Kubernetes on bare metal, such as Hetzner or private data centers.
- Strong command of Prometheus, Grafana, and a logging stack such as Loki or ELK.
- Production experience with Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for container images.
- Understanding of ML infrastructure, including GPU nodes, job queues, large datasets, and long-running jobs.
- Ability to assess legacy infrastructure code and work independently as the project's sole infrastructure engineer.
Nice to have: Trading/HFT infrastructure, low-latency systems, advanced networking, bare-metal optimization, high-performance computing, network policies, secrets management with Vault, and familiarity with ML tools.
