🔎 Senior Frontend ReactJS Developer

Location: Wroclaw, Poland

Work mode: 3- day hybrid

🖇️ Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain features within React-based portfolio reporting applications, including saved report packages, report generation and search functionality.

  • Modernize existing applications by migrating them to Vite and an enterprise design system.

  • Support the migration of legacy ExtJS applications and screens to React.

  • Build, integrate and troubleshoot GraphQL and REST APIs between front-end applications and back-end microservices.

  • Diagnose issues such as slow or failing API queries, incorrect request payloads and front-end performance problems.

  • Deploy UI builds to QA environments, manage release branches, and support regression testing and production releases.

  • Work closely with back-end developers, QA teams, release management and product owners to deliver business and regulatory improvements.

  • Contribute to Agile development, Test Driven Development and DevOps practices.

Your Team:

You will be part of a globally distributed Portfolio Performance Reporting team responsible for applications that support portfolio returns, asset allocation, holdings and client reporting.

The team works collaboratively across front-end development, back-end engineering, data, QA, product and application support functions, with a strong focus on application quality, stability and continuous improvement.

Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on front-end development experience, preferably within banking or financial services.

  • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript and JavaScript. Mandatory

  • Hands-on experience with GraphQL, such as Apollo Client, and REST API integration, including debugging communication between browser applications and back-end services. Mandatory

  • Experience with modern front-end build tools, particularly Vite. Mandatory

  • Strong understanding of Git branching, version control and release workflows. Mandatory

  • Experience migrating legacy front-end applications, such as ExtJS, to React. Preferred

  • Experience working with enterprise UI/design systems. Preferred

  • Familiarity with data-heavy UI frameworks such as AG Grid. Preferred

  • Experience troubleshooting front-end performance issues and memory leaks.

  • Knowledge of wealth management, portfolio reporting, performance returns, holdings or financial reporting would be an advantage.

  • Comfortable working with cloud-based development environments and containerized deployments.

  • Good understanding of Agile, Test Driven Development and DevOps practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders and globally distributed teams.

  • Collaborative approach to problem-solving and working within diverse, cross-functional teams.
