Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain production Go services, high-performance CLI applications, and Linux-based backend components.

  • Build, test, and operate custom resources (CRDs) and Kubernetes reconcilers using controller-runtime.

  • Develop and maintain integrations within the Terraform provider ecosystem, writing custom provider logic and resource lifecycle management.

  • Maintain, refactor, and modernize legacy services, ensuring backward compatibility and operational stability.

  • Implement robust unit, integration, and end-to-end tests across all Go codebases to ensure high fault tolerance and observability.

  • Participate in design reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and write clean technical documentation.

  • Troubleshoot complex concurrency, memory, and performance issues in distributed containerized environments.

Skills:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise writing idiomatic, concurrent, and high-performance Go (Golang).

  • Solid experience building Kubernetes operators, custom controllers, reconciler loops, and CRDs using controller-runtime.

  • Strong working knowledge of Linux environments, systems programming concepts, process isolation, and networking fundamentals.

  • Practical experience working with Terraform, the Terraform provider SDK/plugin framework, and automated infrastructure provisioning.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain, debug, and safely refactor existing or legacy codebases.

  • Solid grasp of containerization and orchestration tooling, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) to collaborate effectively across distributed engineering teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with admission webhooks, aggregated APIs, or Kubernetes API machinery internals.

  • Familiarity with distributed tracing, OpenTelemetry, and Prometheus metric instrumentation.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation for container images and Go binaries using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar platform
