Join a project developing and integrating a secure, scalable payment platform for reliable payment processing and external-system integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and mobile testing of payment services and iOS/Android applications.
- Test REST APIs, microservices, external integrations, and Kafka-based asynchronous messaging.
- Validate payment transaction states and transitions, and cross-check API responses, Kafka events, and database records using SQL.
- Develop and maintain automated API tests; test retries, timeouts, duplicate requests, and error recovery.
- Analyze logs, prepare test scenarios and test data, document and track defects, and verify fixes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial experience in functional and integration testing of backend systems.
- Hands-on experience with REST API testing, Kafka, SQL, automated API tests, and integrations between multiple systems.
- Understanding of event-driven architecture, HTTP, JSON, authentication and authorization, and test design techniques.
- Experience analyzing logs and validating data consistency across APIs, Kafka, and databases.
- English at Intermediate level or above.
Would be a plus: Banking, payments, or fintech experience; payment lifecycle knowledge; Go, Python, Postman/Newman, REST Assured, Docker, Kubernetes; mobile app testing.
