Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mobile experiences using React Native and TypeScript across multiple •••••• products.
- Own initiatives end to end, from requirements and stakeholder alignment through implementation, release, and post-launch iteration.
- Build support-related features, including in-product messaging, chat, content, banners, modals, and voice-call capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, mobile, web, and backend teams; contribute to technical design, code reviews, release processes, and shared architecture.
- Build real-time experiences using APIs and WebSockets, and improve code quality, testing, performance, reliability, and development practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of software development experience, including hands-on experience building and shipping mobile applications with React Native.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern frontend practices.
- Experience owning projects or mobile releases from requirements through production delivery, working with APIs, frontend testing, mobile performance, and build and deployment pipelines.
- Strong organisation, communication, collaboration, technical judgement, and attention to detail.
- Nice to have: native iOS or Android development with Swift or Kotlin; Node.js or backend experience; WebSockets, live messaging, or asynchronous architectures; customer-support tooling; iOS and Android release ownership; Rust, Go, or C++; experience across multiple products or teams; or experience in crypto, fintech, consumer finance, or regulated products.
