*instinctools is looking for a Middle Data Analyst to work for a client on a global mobility and logistics platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, exploratory analysis, and statistical analysis to identify actionable insights.
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards, charts, and visualizations, and develop reports.
  • Own regular and ad-hoc reporting and partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and QA processes, and follow data governance practices.
  • Integrate AI tools into reporting workflows, automate repetitive analytical tasks, review AI-generated outputs, and guide junior analysts on responsible AI use.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; a Master’s degree or certification in Data Science or Business Analytics is a plus.
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or equivalent, independently owning reporting and analysis workflows.
  • Strong SQL skills, including CTEs, complex joins, and basic query-performance awareness.
  • Python with Pandas and basic plotting libraries such as Matplotlib or Seaborn.
  • Proficiency with at least one production BI dashboard tool: Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Understanding of hypothesis testing and basic A/B test design; ability to communicate statistical results to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using AI tools for reporting, prompt engineering, analytics automation, collaboration, or documentation.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher; able to work with minimal oversight.

Work arrangement: Hybrid, with 3 days a week in the office in Bangalore; working time zone is IST. Employment is through the local legal entity, INSTINCTOOLS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, with payroll and tax withholding handled directly.
