We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team and work on innovative data solutions. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory. You will collaborate with Data Architects and Senior Data Engineers to develop and maintain robust data pipelines and transformation processes. Your tasks:

  • Designing, building, and optimizing modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory

  • Developing and maintaining data pipelines, notebooks, dataflows, and transformation processes

  • Supporting the development of scalable lakehouse, warehousing, and analytics solutions

  • Collaborating with Data Architects, Senior Data Engineers, and customer engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions

  • Implementing engineering best practices, including source control, CI/CD, and automated deployments

  • Applying secure engineering approaches and supporting data governance, GDPR, and data classification requirements

  • Producing technical documentation and supporting the ongoing development and optimization of customer data platforms

  • Participating in Agile delivery activities and contributing to technical standards within the Data & AI practice

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data development and engineering

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory

  • Proficient in SQL and Python development

  • Experience building and supporting enterprise data pipelines and transformation frameworks

  • Understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and lakehouse architectures

  • Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub-based CI/CD processes

  • Good understanding of Azure security, governance, and networking fundamentals

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customer stakeholders and delivery teams

  • Very good communication skills in English

  • Residency in Poland

Nice-to-have requirements:

  • Experience working across multiple concurrent customer engagements would be beneficial. Proactive soft skills are a plus

  • Knowledge of Azure Synapse
