•••••• is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. The Payments organization builds products and platforms that help users accept payments, including payment APIs, regional payment options, in-person payments, checkout experiences, and risk-management products.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and large-scale systems that reliably handle billions of money movement requests.
- Debug and resolve critical production issues across services and the technology stack.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with stakeholders across the company to build and scale features.
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
- Collaborate effectively in a distributed and hybrid team.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of industry software engineering experience, excluding internships and co-ops.
- Strong coding skills in any programming language.
- Strong collaboration skills, autonomy, ownership, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Interest in working across different technologies and stacks.
Preferred qualifications: Experience with large-scale financial tracking systems and practical knowledge of cloud-based services such as gRPC, GraphQL, Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS.
