Lead strategic research initiatives, advance machine learning models, and mentor and collaborate with data scientists.

Responsibilities:

  • Research cutting-edge machine learning models.
  • Design data science solutions for the company’s core mission.
  • Work in a short-cycle research and development environment.
  • Generate and test hypotheses in unexplored areas.
  • Mentor and advise data scientists.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning and predictive modeling with tabular data.
  • Track record of translating research into business impact.
  • MSc or PhD in a related field, such as mathematics, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or statistics.
  • Strong applied statistics skills, including distributions, statistical testing, and regression.
  • Proficiency in Python and the data science stack.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and learn quickly.
  • Knowledge of optimization, risk, or finance is an advantage.
