Senior Software Engineer position at micro1. Remote contractor role (~15 hours/week).
Responsibilities & scope: bug fixing, feature implementation, codebase refactoring, building scalable services and APIs, performance optimization.
Requirements & qualifications:
- Strong backend development experience in Python, Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, TypeScript, C++ or similar languages
- Experience building scalable services and APIs
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and computer science fundamentals
- Strong debugging, automated testing, and code review skills
- Experience with performance optimization
Conditions: contractor, approximate 15 hours/week, remote. Selection based on experience, interview performance, and project requirements. Candidates complete screening questions, an AI interview (~30 minutes), and a technical assessment if required.
