Amplemarket builds an AI-powered sales platform for B2B companies. Backend engineers build core product systems, including reliable backend services and APIs that support new product features and handle growing volumes of data.
Responsibilities:
- Own complex, central application components and deliver product roadmap features.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, stable systems and APIs.
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, customer success, support, and sales.
- Debug production issues, identify root causes, and improve system performance and reliability.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to other engineers.
Requirements: Experience designing and maintaining complex, large, or growing systems; attention to edge cases, failure modes, bottlenecks, migrations, releases, and metrics; proactive problem-solving; and a commitment to engineering best practices and testing. Experience with the listed stack is not required.
Stack: Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis.
