Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Expert to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of application security development, SAST and secure coding, cryptography and secret management, DevSecOps standards, security features and general cybersecurity.

This role involves participating in the design and management of security principles in cloud and on-prem (preferably .NET) environments to ensure the highest level of protection for our organization's data and systems. The role also provides input or delivers tasks within our continuous cyber renewal efforts in the fields of infrastructure (endpoint and server) security, network security (e.g., firewall security, ZTNA), access management (e.g., PAM), and more.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and management of security principles across cloud and on-prem (preferably .NET) environments
  • Contribute to continuous cyber renewal efforts across infrastructure security, including endpoint and server protection
  • Support network security initiatives such as firewall security and ZTNA implementations
  • Deliver tasks related to access management solutions, including PAM
  • Administer and secure CI/CD pipelines, with a primary focus on GitHub and legacy AzureDevOps
  • Implement and maintain DevSecOps standards including SAST, SCA, and secret scanning
  • Manage secret management solutions and cryptography practices across the organization
  • Assess complex security issues and develop effective, scalable solutions
  • Communicate security concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Own and manage requirements end-to-end, being accountable for assessment, definition, and delivery of assigned tasks
  • Drive projects proactively and independently, seeking clarification whenever needed
  • Collaborate within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in application development security and secure coding
  • Expertise in CI/CD security and administration (GitHub, AzureDevOps)
  • Proficiency in cloud security across Azure, AWS, and CSPM
  • Skills in IaC tooling and automation (Terraform, Python, CloudFormation)
  • Competency in DevSecOps practices including SAST, SCA, and secure pipeline development with secret scanning
  • Knowledge of secret management tools (Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Bitwarden)
  • Understanding of cryptography, security features, and general cybersecurity principles
  • Familiarity with infrastructure security (endpoint and server), network security (firewall, ZTNA), and access management (PAM)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex security issues
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences
  • Proven ownership mindset with the ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects
  • Availability to visit the client office once every other week
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1)

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in information technology or a related field
  • Additional certifications in cloud security, IT security, or DevSecOps
  • Hungarian language skills
