•••••••••••• is a game developer and publisher based in Limassol, Cyprus, working on Total Battle, an MMO 4X strategy game. The Framework Team builds tools for engineers and powers game services using modern C++17/20, asynchronous systems, network communications, high-load services, and distributed architectures.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop core SDK/framework modules and APIs, protocols, and service-to-service interaction contracts.
  • Build high-performance asynchronous and multithreaded code, including S2S communications, idempotency, transactions, and guaranteed delivery.
  • Design and evolve ORM and data persistence layers using PostgreSQL and Redis.
  • Ensure scalability, stability, and fault tolerance; simplify and refactor legacy code safely.
  • Implement observability with metrics, logs, and tracing.
  • Improve developer tools and DevEx, including build tooling and CI/CD scripts.
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, mentoring, and R&D.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of backend development in a statically typed language under Linux and 3+ years of commercial C++17/20 experience.
  • Strong knowledge of asynchrony and multithreading, including threads, futures, coroutines, and atomics.
  • Understanding of REST/RPC (gRPC), HTTP, WebSocket, and TCP.
  • Hands-on PostgreSQL experience, including DDL/DML, transactions, indexes, and migrations.
  • Strong software design skills: SOLID, Clean Code, IoC/DI, composition, and GoF patterns.
  • Experience with distributed and high-load systems; understanding of scaling, degradation, caching, SLA/SLO/SLI.
  • Experience with CI/CD, containers, and build systems; familiarity with testing and performance tools.
  • Ability to gather requirements, design solutions, break down work, and deliver independently to production.
  • English B1 or higher and Russian B2 or higher.
