EMCD is a global crypto ecosystem building products across mining, wallets, payments, custody, and digital asset infrastructure. The Senior Go Developer will join a backend team working on high-load services for financial and mining products, including transaction lifecycle and money flows, core architecture, or modernization of mining services.

Responsibilities:

  • Build new Go backend services and improve existing products.
  • Integrate external providers via REST and internal services via gRPC and Kafka.
  • Refactor legacy services to reduce support costs, simplify architecture, remove technical debt, and improve test coverage.
  • Improve monitoring, logging, alerting, and security for financial flows.
  • Support production systems, investigate incidents, and track operation lifecycles end to end.
  • Provide technical mentorship within the team.

Requirements:

  • Production experience with money operations in fintech or crypto, including holds, debits, credits, balances, transaction lifecycles, and reconciliation.
  • Strong understanding of safely storing and moving money between systems, including decimal precision, operation keys, idempotency, consistency, and auditability.
  • Strong production experience with Go, PostgreSQL, gRPC, REST, and Kafka.
  • Experience applying microservice patterns to financial systems, including Saga, compensation, distributed transactions, outbox, idempotent consumers, and reconciliation loops.
  • Experience integrating external providers via REST, including timeouts, provider-side statuses, delayed reversals, and reconciliation.
  • Strong PostgreSQL knowledge, including transactions, isolation levels, unique constraints, locks, indexes, and EXPLAIN.
  • Strong Kafka knowledge, including partitions, consumer groups, offsets, rebalancing, delivery guarantees, ordering, and safe horizontal scaling.
  • Active use of AI agents in development and practical understanding of spec-driven workflows and harness building.
