As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a key leadership role in shaping technology direction, guiding cross-functional initiatives, and enabling high-impact delivery. You’ll be responsible for leading complex solution engagements, from discovery and advisory to implementation, while mentoring architecture talent, strengthening practices, and contributing to company-wide strategic growth.
This role is ideal for a seasoned architect with strong consulting capabilities, a track record of hands-on project delivery, and the ability to scale architectural impact across multiple teams and accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture visioning and cross-cutting strategic initiatives across a portfolio of enterprise clients.
- Drive practice growth by establishing frameworks, methodologies, and reusable assets for solution delivery and consulting engagements.
- Build and mentor architecture and engineering teams, ensuring capability uplift and technical excellence across accounts.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client C-level executives and technology leaders, helping shape digital strategy and technology roadmaps.
- Govern architecture implementation across the portfolio to ensure alignment with best practices, maintainability, and long-term value.
Delivery & Consulting Responsibilities:
- Lead or guide discovery phases, assessments, technical workshops, and architecture audits.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, sustainable architectural solutions.
- Own solution proposals during pre-sales and upsales, including technical vision, high-level design, risk management, and cost estimation.
- Lead project execution, ensuring architecture is delivered according to vision.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, aligning client needs with forward-thinking architectural approaches.
- Act as a Chief Architect and lead a team with subordinate architects on the complex accounts.
Qualifications
- Presale and engagement experience, and this is the part we weigh most. You have led, or carried a substantial part of, discovery, assessment, and proposal work: the client workshops, the solution vision, the estimate behind it, and the artifacts that went out the door.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience, at least 2 of them as an architect.
- Demonstrated ownership of account delivery, of discovery and assessment engagements, or of both.
- Proven experience leading consulting engagements such as assessments, discoveries, and workshops, or building and scaling architecture for large teams of 10+ engineers running 9 months or longer. Strength in both is a strong plus.
- Experience in at least 2 core technology domains: BE or FE development, data architecture, embedded and IoT, cloud architecture, enterprise architecture.
- Structured design methods in practice: architectural drivers, quality attribute scenarios, trade-off analysis, and architectural estimation, architecture work on that basis - method-driven rather than intuition-driven
- Strong command of at least one technology ecosystem plus working knowledge of a second, enough to justify a framework choice for the solution in front of you rather than the one you know best.
- Hands-on architecture experience with more than one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP). Associate-level certification is useful evidence; hands-on depth is what we assess.
- Experience building scalable microservice-based architecture and strong knowledge of integration patterns.
- Practical AI proficiency. You use AI tools daily in your own work and can lift others to the same level: improving team workflows, integrating AI into the delivery lifecycle, choosing and rolling out tooling, and setting sensible guardrails for its use.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You can present technical detail to a non-technical audience.
- English: Upper-Intermediate/Advanced .
Desirable Certifications:
- SEI Software Architecture Professional
- TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
- Domain-specific expertise in areas such as data platforms, security, or enterprise integration is a plus
