Join the Investment Accounting / Positions team working for a large asset management fund. Develop on-premises and cloud software for capturing trading transactions and calculating positions. Contribute to the Middle Office transformation by providing investment teams with timely, accurate views of trades, positions, P&L, and performance.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of programming experience, including 5+ years of Java (Java Core and multithreading).
- Experience or knowledge in financial domains, including transactions, positions, P&L, and performance management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Experience with Kafka or other real-time messaging systems, distributed caching technologies such as Memcached or Ignite, and distributed, large-scale, data-intensive applications.
- Expert SQL/database query skills; strong analytical ability and capacity to learn independently from code or reverse engineer.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. AWS experience is a plus; Python is useful.
Work setup: Remote or hybrid. Remote work is available from Georgia, Serbia, Spain, Cyprus, Armenia, Portugal, or Poland; hybrid work is available in Kraków or Limassol.
