•••• is hiring a Senior Back-end Engineer for its Commerce team to build reliable, scalable commerce systems.
Responsibilities:
- Write and ship high-quality, scalable code and improve the codebase.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders, applying product thinking to technical decisions.
- Contribute through code reviews, refactoring, testing, and pair programming.
- Own the design and execution of initiatives, bug fixes, and platform improvements.
- Share knowledge and develop technical and soft skills.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend development experience; proficiency in PHP or Node.js and willingness to learn the other.
- Strong expertise in high-load architecture, distributed systems, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CQRS.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles and practices, including SOLID, TDD, CI/CD, and Agile.
- Good spoken and written English; experience with debugging, unit testing, and performance optimization.
- Product-minded approach, ownership, and practical experience using LLMs and coding assistants in development workflows.
