Job Description Summary

The C++ Developer will contribute to the development, maintenance and support of solutions around Finastra Summit TCI, the back-office application used by Global Markets Operations. The application supports processes including trade lifecycle management, payments, confirmations, accounting, reporting and clearing for products such as derivatives, foreign exchange and treasury.

Based in Bengaluru, the role is part of an international team working with colleagues in France, Portugal and Hong Kong. It offers developers at any career stage the opportunity to build or deepen their experience in financial-services technology. Finastra Summit or financial-markets experience is an advantage, but is not essential.

Main Activities

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance and maintain C++ solutions supporting the Summit TCI application and related systems.

  • Contribute to the evolution of the information-system architecture and make use of relevant capabilities offered by Finastra Summit.

  • Analyse requirements and prepare clear technical specifications and implementation designs.

  • Work with technology, operations and business stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.

  • Investigate complex production issues and provide Level 3 technical support.

  • Support back-office processes including trade lifecycle management, payments, confirmations, accounting, reporting and clearing.

  • Contribute to testing, documentation, code quality and release activities in line with team practices.

Required Skills

Essential

  • Hands-on experience developing software in C++.

  • Experience working in a Linux environment.

  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with an international team.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about financial markets and the systems that support them.

Desirable

  • Experience with Finastra Summit, particularly Summit TCI or Summit V6.x.

  • Experience with Oracle databases.

  • Shell-scripting experience.

  • Experience in financial-services technology, global markets or production-support environments.

  • Familiarity with derivatives, treasury or back-office processes.
