ShippyPro is hiring a senior backend engineer to build and own scalable backend systems for its shipping and fulfillment platform, which handles millions of shipments and global requests.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable backend services.
- Architect microservices and contribute to distributed systems evolution.
- Lead technical design, own performance and reliability, and write clean, tested, production-ready code.
- Integrate AI and LLMs to automate merchant workflows.
- Collaborate with Product and Design from discovery through delivery.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of system design, clean architecture, and engineering trade-offs.
- Experience with microservices, asynchronous patterns, and distributed systems.
- Fluent English; SaaS experience is valued.
