Lead the technical development of Tangem Express, a crypto exchange aggregator integrated into Tangem Wallet.
- Own backend architecture, code quality, technical decisions, and scalability improvements.
- Design and maintain integrations with 12+ external crypto exchange providers.
- Improve platform availability, reliability, performance, and fault tolerance.
- Investigate production incidents and resolve complex technical issues.
- Guide a team of four backend engineers through planning, prioritization, code reviews, and engineering standards.
Requirements:
- Strong commercial backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Previous experience as a Tech Lead or Senior/Staff Backend Engineer owning complex systems.
- Deep knowledge of software architecture, design principles, microservices, and clean architecture.
- Experience with crypto systems or transaction-processing platforms, such as crypto swaps, exchanges, or crypto service providers.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs with failure handling, timeouts, retries, and error recovery.
- Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills, high-load system experience, application security knowledge, production troubleshooting, and unit and E2E testing experience.
Nice to have: Experience with cryptocurrency exchanges, swap aggregators, crypto wallets, crypto swaps, exchange routing, liquidity providers, and centralized or decentralized exchange APIs (CEX/DEX).
