Junior System & Network Engineer

The role supports and improves existing IT infrastructure for QData and its clients.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain MikroTik, Fortinet, and Cisco networks; troubleshoot connectivity across office and remote sites.
• Administer Ubuntu servers and virtualization; monitor health and diagnose hardware and software faults.
• Maintain Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix monitoring; configure alerts, analyze metrics and logs, and triage incidents.
• Service client sites, install and maintain server and network equipment, and diagnose cabling and physical-layer issues.

Requirements:

• Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, OSI, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, NAT, routing, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Basic Ubuntu server administration and understanding of server and network hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, a self-driven approach, and willingness to travel to client sites.
