Phantom is hiring a Staff Software Engineer (SRE) to help operate and scale its multichain crypto wallet infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
- Configure and maintain crypto nodes across multiple blockchains.
- Scale database infrastructure to handle terabytes of blockchain data.
- Improve uptime, monitoring, and observability.
- Collaborate with backend and product teams on feature development and system scaling.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in an SRE or Software Engineer role.
- Production experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
- Experience with Docker, Terraform or Pulumi, and monitoring and observability tools.
