Lead a squad of 8 developers building, automating, and operating software used by Sonar customers worldwide. Support team members’ professional growth and maintain high engineering standards.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and manage engineers, foster feedback and continuous improvement, and support collaboration across teams.
- Define squad objectives with product and AI teams, guide technical architecture and engineering direction, and track sprint progress.
- Partner with stakeholders on product vision, processes, hiring, and onboarding.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of software development or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of software testing.
- Developer mindset, including experience with the software development lifecycle, secure coding, code reviews, and working with unfamiliar codebases, languages, and frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of the Java ecosystem and good knowledge of at least one programming language and its development environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience, with a track record of delivering results and building high-performing teams.
- Strong communication, decision-making, prioritization, feedback, and conflict-resolution skills; autonomy and a growth mindset.
Relocation to Geneva.
