Overview

We are searching for a Senior AI-Native Delivery Manager to lead the comprehensive delivery of integrated digital solutions for a prominent oil and gas client in the Middle East.

This position demands a combination of advanced engineering and architectural knowledge, practical experience in AI project delivery, and the ability to build strong relationships with C-level executives and government stakeholders in a multicultural, Arabic business context. The chosen candidate will act as the primary client liaison, manage a diverse delivery team, and contribute to account expansion, with frequent travel to the UAE required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of digital solution delivery, from initial concept through to production deployment in complex enterprise settings
  • Serve as the primary client interface, ensuring transparent communication and alignment with project objectives
  • Lead and inspire a multicultural, cross-functional delivery team working across multiple project streams
  • Direct project planning, estimation, and execution in technically challenging and ambiguous environments
  • Champion Agile and Scrum methodologies with a focus on delivering tangible business value
  • Establish and maintain robust risk management practices, proactively identifying and addressing potential delivery risks
  • Govern project delivery across a wide range of stakeholders, including senior executives and government officials
  • Collaborate with account management to drive account growth, delivery strategy, and client satisfaction metrics
  • Guide the design and integration of backend systems, including microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-led solutions
  • Oversee enterprise integration, data architecture, and security for hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructures
  • Lead AI and machine learning initiatives from use-case selection and proof of concept to production and ongoing improvement
  • Make strategic architectural decisions regarding advanced AI technologies such as LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and prompt engineering
  • Leverage AI-powered tools in daily delivery management, including coding assistants and automated planning solutions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 8 years in senior delivery, program, or architecture leadership roles
  • Proven ability to deliver large-scale, enterprise-level programs involving multiple workstreams, 50+ team members, and multi-year durations
  • Advanced leadership in Agile and Scrum, emphasizing results and managing portfolios of concurrent projects
  • Expertise in risk management, including proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of delivery risks
  • Strong planning and estimation skills in complex and uncertain technical environments
  • Experience managing delivery across senior stakeholder groups, including C-level executives and government representatives
  • Demonstrated success in supporting account growth, delivery strategy, and client satisfaction in partnership with account management
  • Deep knowledge of backend architecture, including microservices, event-driven systems, and API-led integration
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar standards
  • Strong background in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), including infrastructure as code, containerization, CI/CD, and observability
  • Experience managing hybrid environments that combine cloud, on-premises, multiple vendors, and legacy systems
  • Proficiency in enterprise integration patterns, data architecture (data lakes, lakehouses, streaming), and security at the enterprise level
  • Hands-on leadership of AI/ML projects from ideation and prioritization through proof of concept and production deployment
  • Technical understanding of modern AI architectures, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering
  • Working knowledge of cloud AI platforms such as Azure AI/OpenAI Service, AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI, and Databricks
  • Experience leading interdisciplinary AI teams, including data engineers, ML engineers, data scientists, and business product owners
  • Practical use of AI tools in delivery management, such as AI coding assistants and AI-driven risk or planning tools
  • Exceptional written and spoken English at a C1 business level, with strong executive presentation skills
  • High emotional intelligence and adaptability in communication for diverse cultural and seniority contexts
  • Demonstrated people leadership, fostering motivation, psychological safety, and high performance in multicultural teams
